Why is it that preachers these days are commenting on political events and making it like they are the authority on some kind of consciousness from God about what candidates are thinking and doing.

The most recent attack on Hillary Clinton is disgusting where Pastor PFLeger should have the audacity to chastise the candidate after she spent days upon days running a fair race and doing whatever she could to get a nomination. So she failed. So she has disappointments, and with her so do millions of other Democrats who voted for her. So why all the hoopla and chastising of her attempt? If Hillary ever thought she was entitiled, she got a rude awakening, and since when was it mighty Christian of anyone to make fun of others who tried to do something great? Excuse me, was she robbing the poor? Was she doing anything other than what “God” says every man and woman are entitled to, such as life a good life.

In these days, watching supposed Christian, Catholic, hate mongering preachers is such a disappointment.

It’s no secret that Hillary Clinton has been thwarted in her campaign of the White House due to bad press, not deserved bad press, but just bad press in general. It’s no secret that any woman over 50 would have a tough go of it, and she has. The latest attack on Hillary Clinton is alive an well and streaming all over the tube, whether it be yourtube or the television tube.

The Obama surrogates have called for an apology from Clinton for her latest remarks about Bobby Kennedy. And for what?! For her saying that many people ran primaries into June, including him. Give me a break. Is this any more offensive than Obama flicking her off of his lapel, where that famous patriotic pin used to sit? Does he owe her an apology? I think so.

Why does Obama owe Hillary an apology? Well let’s start with the latest Obama surrogate attack on a simple statement that was blown out of proportion and made him the martyr here who has done no wrong while making her the villian of the Democratic party. Hillary has championed the Democratic party and the plain statement of how primaries go into June is no excuse to make a villain of her.

Now onto the Press, the biggest villains here. Those pesky little news gatherers that can drill a point down ad nauseum. Is there anything else in the world more important than chastising Hillary Clinton like a child (Mr. Obermann?) Pleeeease! If you are so outraged by the Hillary RFK remark, tell us how you really feel about something actually important to chastise such as the way that the Government of Myanmar failed to get aid to their people… or would you be admitted the the hospital for that one on a psycho breakdown?

As to Hillary’s campaign, should we point to mere facts that there are over 17 million people who are sitting squarely in her corner and won’t budge? Sure there are. Donations have poured in, even in her darkest days here as either a sign of protest or a sign of support, take your pick. You can’t say that last month’s total of millions for her since winning West Virgina is small potatoes.

Bill Clinton had it right when he said that no other candidate has been so disrespected than Hillary Clinton. What is the problem people. While Chris Matthews Hardball is saying it’s a blame game and acting incensed by that, the fact is that she is taking more blows than George forman took from Muhammad Ali. Hillary has suffered bad press, for no good reason, over and over again why? Is this simply because she is a woman? or is it because Obama’s camp needs to shut her up once and for all. Well good luck with that people, Hillary has lots of support from the generation of people who simply will not shut up and sit down.

And while we’re at it did anyone else notice the wallup he is packin’ in his pants? Geez. We are talking some serious mac there. Is he stuffing socks in there or is he really built like a mac truck?

I took to some investigating to figure this one out, I mean after all he is not known for packing large. So here is what I came up with. (check out the image over there) Looks like he was just a regular guy until he got onto the Rock of Love this season, I guess last season was inspiring for him. Bret let his hair down, and apparently started working out, or could it be that he is using that new enlarger stuff I see all over my spam folder? However we look at this, we do enjoy looking, eh? I say, if Rock of Love is that good to you Bret, keep working it.

Gotta love that man!

Bret Michaels, you Rock! (see you in an hour)

Chivalry is not dead. As the debate ends with the final question, will there be a Clinton-Obama ticket or an Obama-Clinton ticket, the candidates stand and Obama takes hold of the back of Hillary’s chair and waits patiently for her to stand. Mrs. Clinton takes a moment, as if the President already and finally stands, alleviating Obama of his chivalrous duty to continue to wait.

While the debate was civil and kind on each end, it’s clearly a strong ticket against any of the Republican candidates. With Rush Limbaugh vouching for Romney, Guilliani off the chart and the concern over McCain’s temper, two shining minorities with a vision for the future would be a stronghold.

Reality reminds, it’s all public relations to skirt the question. It won’t happen. I wouldn’t hold your breath on this one.

I’m on the 4th day of the Obagi NuDerm system and all I can say is OUCH. This morning when I got up I waited an hour or so to do my normal stuff. Then I realized how tight and uncomfortable my face was feeling so I decided to wash it with the wash and put on the other things. Well I don’t think it was hurting until I get to the “Clear” part, not too bad, but hurts a little. It’s a burning sensation. Just a sting actually. Then I put on the rest of the system, and finally the sunscreen. It’s at this point that I realize how much that stinging has turned into a burning ouch feeling.

I’m scheduled next Friday for the Obagi Blue Peel. That will be fun. I’ll keep you up on my progress. But again, at this moment. Ouchy!

So they went with money and came home with votes… Interesting to note that the votes and the amount of money had and spent are not in correlation. Here’s how it lays out.

Obama, 80 million brought in, 44 million spent - places first. (cost per delegate won? 2.75 million)

Edwards, 30 million, 17 million, places 2nd, pretty strong showing for not that much spent. ( Cost per delegate: 1.21 million. )
Clinton, 90 million, 40 million, places 3rd (barely almost tied with Edwards), weak showing for lots spent. (cost per delegate? 2.9 million).

Clearly Edwards got quite a bit done for a guy who didn’t have much money to back him. If he had the kind of money that Obama or Clinton had, who knows what the result would have been. The single point between Clinton and Edwards in Iowa don’t mean much as when it goes to New Hampshire my prediction is that Hillary will have a better showing than Edwards for a couple of reason. 1. She still has 50 million to spent, 2. She can carry an audience in the New England State better than the boy from South Carolina.

Republicans:

Huckabee, 2million in, 1.5 million spent, way strong showing for a guy with only a couple of million dollars involved. Cost per delegate 53,000 dollars.

Romney, 62 million in, 53 million spent, pretty small showing compared to the frontrunner with lots of money wasted on trying. 7.5 million per delegate.

Overall, with only a couple of million dollars Huckabee is the big winner. Here is a guy who is running on a wing and a prayer and took 30 delegates double any other candidate with only 1.6 million dollars. That is very impressive.

Prediction on that one is that Huckabee will continue to spiral upward overtaking every candidate in the Republican party. McCain has not made it before and likely can’t carry it and Romney, although he might have had a better showing in New Hampshire won’t be able to change his face to get over himself in time to fix it. Gulliani won’t be able to get out of his own way either in New Hampshire.

That means that we will likely have a Presidential vote between Huckabee and Obama, or Huckabee and Clinton. Either way it will be an interesting challenge.

According to Bush anyone can now make their own laws if they can get to the top of the heap as President. Take the current laws that Bush has been changing since he was in office as an example:

Torture: The Army’s field manual specifically prohibits waterboarding as torture, and under the Geneva convention torture is prohibited. The House of Representatives this week approved a bill that would outlaw its use by the CIA. The bill’s fate is unclear in the Senate and President Bush has threatened to veto it if it is passed.

Why would our Senate need to vote in a bill that establishes an already in effect agreed upon Convention? Perhaps to send a message to the President that he is violating a law? Meanwhile Bush has made his own laws saying that if the President approves of it, waterboarding, and torture are allowed.

Phone Taps: Bush belives that he can ignore wiretap laws and go ahead and spy upon all of us, for whatever reason, just in case we might be involved in terrorist acts. Usually you need to go to the Court and have them look at the evidence and then begin the wiretapping. But in this case, no more.

So many laws and so called “signing statements” have been in the news lately that it’s baffeling for most people to understand, and therefore easy to spin, but the bottom line is that the country has laws for a reason and Bush considers executive power over all of them. This is akin to the Nixon years when Nixon and his team of men beleived that erasing tapes covering up a robbery was okay. Well, it turns out that this wasn’t so.

Yes we know there is a move to impeach Bush and it hasn’t really gotten much steam. Time to take another look.

In the United States IBM employs about 125,000 people out of a whopping 355,766. Seemingly no longer a US company but an “international” company, IBM has parts made in China, and a labor force outsourced to India.

Interestingly, the United States boundaries have been slowly eroding and losing it’s steam as so many jobs are outsourced, as so many companies seek to find cheaper labor and corporate greed simply does not pay for American workers. Between the outsourcing and the incoming immigrant hiring, how much further can we really go before we blur the lines entirely and there is no “American” workforce.
